Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

At Whizply, protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our site or uses our platform is something we take seriously. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to whizply.com and the Whizply platform (together, the "Service"), operated by Damini Rastogi, based in Bengaluru, India.

If anything here isn't clear, or you'd like more detail, reach out any time at hello@whizply.com.

Consent

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

What we ask for depends on how you're using the Service:

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone beyond what's needed to run the Service. Currently that means our hosting providers (Netlify and Render), Google or LinkedIn if you choose to sign in that way, and the specific referral contacts you choose to reach out to through the platform. We may also disclose information if legally required to do so.

The Whizply Chrome extension

The extension fills job application forms from your Whizply profile and keeps a record of where you applied. It only works on pages you choose to fill, and on the job application sites listed in its permissions, where it notices when you submit an application.

What it reads on a page: the questions on the application form (each field's label, name, type and choices), the page address, and the job title and company the page shows. It skips password fields, and it does not read your browsing history or any other site.

What it sends to Whizply: those form questions, the page address, the job title and company, and the time you applied. The form questions are the employer's text, never your answers, and we keep them in a shared cache so that the next person who meets the same form gets it filled faster.

What it gets back: answers from your own Whizply profile, your tailored resume to attach, and, only when you ask for one, a draft answer to an open question. Drafts are written from your resume and the job description by our AI providers, and you read and edit them yourself. The extension never submits a form for you.

Your sign-in: a sign-in token is kept in Chrome's storage on your computer. It can only fill forms and record applications; it cannot change your password or delete your account. You can disconnect any device at any time from whizply.com/extension or from the extension itself.

Information we receive through the extension is used only to provide these features. We do not sell it or use it for advertising, and our use of it follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Log files

Like most websites, our hosting providers automatically log some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your visit. This is standard practice used for keeping the site running smoothly and secure, and isn't linked back to who you are personally.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and remember basic preferences. We don't run advertising and don't use third-party tracking or ad-network cookies. You're always free to disable cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the Service may not work as expected if you do.

Data retention

We keep your account data and resume content for as long as your account stays active. If you delete your account, we'll delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, unless we're required to hold onto it longer for legal or security reasons.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you're located, you can always reach out to hello@whizply.com to:

We'll respond to any request within a month. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you're a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. Again, we do not sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children's privacy

Whizply isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we'll remove it promptly.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. That said, no system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection.

International data transfers

Because Whizply serves people around the world, your data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in, including India and wherever our hosting providers operate. We take reasonable steps to keep it protected wherever it's processed.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page from time to time as the Service evolves, and we'll update the date at the top when we do. For any change that meaningfully affects your rights, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know directly.
